Some significant changes are afoot at the Blue Mountains Chamber of Commerce.
According to a media release from the chamber, long-time board member and current president Dolf Jansen has resigned effective immediately.
“After 10 years of leadership and dedication to the local business community, Dolf Jansen is resigning from his position as Blue Mountains Chamber of Commerce President, effective immediately. It is with heartfelt gratitude that The Blue Mountains Chamber of Commerce accepts Dolf Jansen’s resignation and thank him for 10 years of leadership and community service.”
No reason for the resignation was provided.
The chamber has selected Steve Simon as the incoming president to replace Jansen, with Paula Hope as incoming vice-president and Elijah McCaffrey as the new secretary-treasurer .
